Member Since: Sep 10, 2010 Gender: Male Goal Type: Marathon Finish Running Accomplishments: I was more of a sprinter in high school but my coach ended up putting me in the mile right before districts. I placed in the top 5 and made it to divisionals, where I then broke the school record in the mile. I still kick myself for not running it all year and setting an elite record. I haven't really run much the past 10 years but now I am a cross country coach with James Barnes and have run 17 lbs off this summer and am feeling spry again. Short-Term Running Goals: Get back under an 18 min 5K Get under 37 min 10K Run 1/2 marathon Long-Term Running Goals: Run a full marathon... for fun!!! Ditto... semi-competitively Personal: Single math teacher that likes long walks on the beach... blah, blah :) Coach cross country and boys basketball at Herriman High School |
